The Grindlift of death

I found a video of the 3d model I made and animated for the Grindlift in Gears 2.  This vehicle had a very specific function that I had to design around.  It was one of the more challenging vehicles I have had to design for Gears but honestly I enjoy this complex wierd stuff the most.

  1. I love viewing your concept works but out of curiosity; how long does it take to do a rough 3ds max model of your drawings? Are they just modeled with no worries for polygon count and UVW'ed or what?

  3. The more complex stuff could take up to a week or 2. Ya I dont worry about UVs or polycounts.
